Vizsla Puppies For Sale
The Vizsla is a versatile, red-coated gundog built for long days in the field. For centuries these rugged but elegant athletes have been the pride of Hungarian sportsmen, and their popularity in America increases with each passing year. The Vizsla is easily recognized by his sleek golden-rust coat. They can stand between 21 to 24 inches at the shoulder and are the picture of a lean, light-footed hunter’s companion. The long, silky ears frame a facial expression that is sensitive and loving around the house and intense when at work. As a hunter expected to work closely with humans, Vizslas form a tight bond with their owners and hate to be left alone. Athletes of many talents, Vizslas excel at various sports and activities. They are eager and graceful trotters of great stamina, making them ideal jogging or biking companions. An expert on the breed tells us, ‘If you don’t have the time to encourage this breed’s full use of its brain, you’re wasting a good dog.’
About Vizsla
The Hungarian Vizsla is a short-coated hunting dog of distinguished appearance and bearing. Robust, but rather lightly built, they are lean dogs that have defined muscles.
Various breeds are often mistaken for Vizslas and vice versa. Redbone Coonhounds, Weimaraners and Rhodesian Ridgebacks are most commonly mixed up. The body structure of a Vizsla is very similar in appearance to a Weimaraner and a Redbone Coonhound, though the Vizsla is typically leaner with a more defined musculature. Weimaraners and Rhodesian Ridgebacks are generally larger than Vizslas.
The nose of the Vizsla will usually be a reddish color that blends with the coat color. Black, brown, light pink, or another color nose is an indication of another breed. A Vizsla’s eye and nail color usually also blend with the coat color.
The standard coat is French-row yellow in several shadings.[8] The coat could also be described as a yellow, orange, copper-brown color, russet gold, and dark sandy gold. Solid, dark, mahogany red and pale yellow are considered faults and a disqualification in competitions. Small areas of white on the fore-chest, neck, or tail are permissible but not preferred. Some variations in the Vizsla coat color along their back (saddle-type marks) are typical.
The American Kennel Club (AKC) breed standards for the Vizsla states that the coat should be short, smooth, dense, and close-lying, without a woolly undercoat. The Vizsla is not suited to being kept outside since, unlike most other breeds, it does not have an undercoat. They are self-cleaning dogs and rarely need to be bathed, if ever. They have little noticeable “dog smell” detectable by humans. After several forays into lakes and streams they will develop an aroma that is a weaker version of the ‘wet dog’ smell. A quick bath and this odor will vanish.

Thanks for visiting our website. I am called Jackson Rodriguez . The Rodriguez family are the breeders of this great vizsla puppies. We have been breeding this lovely breed dogs since 2015. My wife and I are pet lovers so we took up the initiative to breed these lovely dog breed to satisfy the needs of families who will want to own or add a new member to their family. My knowledge about the Vizsla has grown as the years go by as they are a dog breed that are very smart and make us to learn new things everyday. My history with owning a puppy goes right back to my Christmas holidays when I was 10 years old. My parents bought me a lovely Vizsla puppy which I named brown. Brown gave me a lot of childhood memories when I was growing as a teen. He was more than a best friend to me. He was so lovely and friendly. Each time I got angry back then about something, Brown was always there to console me and make me smile again. I always thought he could talk as he understood me so much. I always speak to him at times hoping he will respond. Everywhere I went to, Brown was with me. I met my wife in college. We were very good friends back then. She loved Brown until she insisted her parents should get her a Vizsla. That was how our love for this lovely dog breed grew up. Our dogs use to play together. Unfortunately in our later years at college, I lost my lovely puppy Brown. We grew up loving each other so much and loving this dog breed. Later on, we got married and with our love for a Vizsla. We decided to breed and raise this dog breed and why not educate puppy lovers about the importance of owning a Bernedoodle puppy. Fast forward to today, my wife and I raise our 2 kids and breed the Puppies on our 3 acres of land where our puppies have enough space to play around. My family and I are dedicated to help everyone own the perfect, healthy puppy for their home. With our knowledge of this dog breed from childhood, we will say Berndoodle’s are the best dogs to own.
